Analyses the thermal environment, human thermal responses and adaptive behaviour based on the 921 sets of raw data in 23 weeks, which are acquired from a whole year field survey on naturally ventilated buildings in a university in Guangzhou from 2008 to 2009. Obtains the annual variations of indoor thermal environment for the typical naturally ventilated buildings in hot-humid area of China, and finds a definite relation between thermal sensation and standard effective temperature. Validates the modified PMV model, and finds the expectancy factor to be 0.8 for the studied buildings. Obtains the patterns of clothing adjustment, window-opening and fan usage.
