Thermal expansion of blood vessels in low cryogenic temperatures. 2. Vitrification with VS55, DP6, and 7.05 M DMSO.
Author(s) : JIMENEZ RIOS J. L., RABIN Y.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The authors initially investigated the thermal expansion of blood vessels under typical vitrification conditions and using a new device they had developed. In this follow-up study, they performed measurements of the thermal expansion of blood vessels permeated with 3 different cryoprotectants. The article also presents the glass transition temperature, based on thermal strain data. [Reprinted with permission from Elsevier. Copyright, 2006]. See also this Bulletin, reference 2006-2681.
