THE PAPER PRESENTS A NUMERICAL CALCULATION OF THERMAL PERFORMANCE AND PRESSURE DROP FOR HEAT-PIPE HEAT EXCHANGERS WITH ALIGNED TUBE ROWS. IN THE STUDY THE VARIATION OF THE NUMBER OF ROWS AND COLUMNS FROM 1 TO 6 FOR A TOTAL OF 36 ARRANGEMENTS ARE PRESENTED AND DISCUSSED. FROM THE RESULTS, AN OPTIMUM ARRANGEMENT OF HEAT-PIPE HEAT EXCHANGER COULD BE OBTAINED.
