Thermo-hydrometric comfort in hospitals.
Confort thermohygrométrique à l'hôpital.
Author(s) : KIESGEN F., CHEVALIER P.
Type of article: Article
Summary
It is shown that humidification of air is not worthwhile and can only have harmful effects on the comfort of the occupants and could even promote the spread of airborne contamination. The operating temperature, the weighted average between the convective and radiative temperatures, should be taken into account. These two temperatures should be as close together as possible. Above all, comfort comes above all from the ability to regulate and adapt air-conditioning systems.
