Summary
The paper discusses the acoustic wave motion, time-averaged thermoacoustic heat transportation and energy transformation in sound channels. The thermoacoustic effects are caused by the thermal interaction of the oscillatory gaseous fluid and the solid wall media. A closed set of longitudinal thermoacoustic equations were obtained.
