Summary
Absorption thermochemical energy storage is a high efficiency energy storage method. It could significantly enlarge the applied range of energy sources with distributed nature, such as solar energy, geothermal energy and etc. In this paper, a two-stage absorption thermochemical power system equipped with energy storage tank is proposed, and thermodynamic analysis is carried out. The coefficient of performance and exergy efficiency are about 30% and 10% higher than traditional Rankine cycle, respectively.
