Type of article: Article
Summary
A water-based multisplit system for the air conditioning of buildings in the medium- and small-scale service sector is presented; its purpose is to compete with direct-expansion multisplit systems. Its advantages are noted: flexible use, simple installation, easy servicing, lower cost. Its drawbacks are also presented; inability to heat and cool at the same time, limited choice of interior units. However, the manufacturer is continuing research in the area. J.L.
