TRANSIENT RESPONSE OF AN ADSORPTION REFRIGERATING MACHINE DURING A DISCONTINUOUS CYCLE.

COMPORTEMENT EN REGIME TRANSITOIRE DE MACHINE A FROID TRITHERME A ADSORPTION A CYCLE DISCONTINU.

Author(s) : LUO L., FEIDT M., HABIB I.

Summary

EXPERIMENTS WITH A PROTOTYPE OF THREE HEAT SINKS ADSORPTION REFRIGERATING MACHINE ARE REPORTED. ETHANOL AND METHANOL ARE USED AS REFRIGERANTS WITH ACTIVE CHARCOALS. EVOLUTION OF THE TEMPERATURE, AND OF PRESSURE INSIDE THE CYLINDRICAL REACTOR AND THE EVAPORATOR AND CONDENSER ARE INVESTIGATED, AS WELL AS THE CYCLED MASS. THE PRECEDING RESULTS ARE COMPARED FOR A DISCONTINUOUS CYCLE WITH THOSE OBTAINED FROM A TRANSIENT GENERATOR MODEL.
