Summary

A NEW ROAD TRUCK ASSEMBLY PLANT IN THE USA USES AN INTERNAL CLIMATE SYSTEM BASED ON A HIGH TEMPERATURE PROFILE FROM FLOOR TO THE VERY HIGH CEILING LEVEL REQUIRED. THE SYSTEM TEMPERS A MIXTURE OF RECIRCULATED AIR FROM ROOF TRUSS LEVEL AND OUTSIDE AIR, USING CHILLED WATER COILS OR DIRECT GAS HEATING. AIR IS DELIVERED JUST ABOVE WORKING HEIGHT AND PURGE AIR IS REMOVED AT ROOF LEVEL. THE CHILLED WATER SYSTEM USES TWO 400,000 GALLON (1,500 M3 ) FIRE WATER TANKS AS THERMAL STORAGE WHICH SAVES ON PEAK DEMAND, PROVIDES STANDBY, AND ENABLES SIMPLE CONTROL OF THE CENTRIFUGAL WATER CHILLERS.
