Summary

THE UPPER CRITICAL FIELD H IN SUPERCONDUCTORS WITH P-PAIRING IS FOUND AT AN ARBITRARY TEMPERATURE BY TAKINGINTO ACCOUNT LOCAL MAGNETIC EFFECTS OF BOTH SPIN AND ORBITAL ORIGIN. IN THE ABSENCE OF SPIN-ORBIT INTERACTION THE MAXIMUM VALUE OF H (T) AMONG ALL P-PAIRING PHASES IS POSSESSED BY THE FERROMAGNETIC BETA-PHASE. THE PHASE TRANSITION FROM ANORMAL METAL TO A SUPERCONDUCTOR WITH P-PAIRING IN A MAGNETIC FIELD SPLITS INTO TWO TRANSITIONS. FOR ARBITRARY DIRECTIONS OF AN EXTERNAL MAGNETIC FIELD NO PHASE TRANSITION SPLITTING OCCURS. THE ANISOTROPY OF THE UPPER CRITICAL FIELD WITHMULTICOMPONENT ORDER PARAMETERS RELATING TO VARIOUS REPRESENTATIONS OF THE CUBIC GROUP ARE DISCUSSED.
