Summary

ONE OF THE MAIN PROBLEMS OF CRYOSURGERY IS THE ACCURATE CHECKING OF THE AREA DESTROYED BY FREEZING. A SERIES OF IN VITRO AND IN VIVO INVESTIGATIONS SHOW THAT COMPUTER TOMOGRAPHY CHECKS THE ICE BLOCK INSIDE THE BODY. STUDIES WERE DONE IN TWELVE CASES OF CANCER.
