Use of small air-conditioning systems.

Mise en oeuvre des petits systèmes de climatisation.

Author(s) : BILLOT O.

Summary

In providing air-conditioning in small service-sector spaces, it is difficult to choose between a simple air-conditioning plant and a combined, reversible heating/air-conditioning plant. A method is presented for analyzing requirements in each particular case, and the different types of air- or water-condensation systems available on the market are described. The implementation conditions are then analyzed for inside and outside units. Care in loading and safety is examined, as well as aesthetic and acoustic restrictions. As a conclusion, the necessity of a concertation between all the parties involved is underlined, for a precise definition of the results being sought and of the possibilities for applications. Y.G.
