Summary
THERMOVISION MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO VISUALIZE THE INFRARED RADIATION OF BODIES. DATA CAN BE RECORDED BY A PHOTOGRAPH, A VIDEO-RECORDER AND CAN BE EVALUATED WITH A COMPUTER. THE SYSTEM CONSISTS OF A THERMOGRAPHIC SCANNER WITH SCANNING FREQUENCY OF 25/SEC AND A TIC 8000 ANALYZING SYSTEM. THE INFRARED THERMOVISION SYSTEM IS USED TO INSPECT THE HEAT-INSULATING EFFICIENCY OF FREEZER POLYURETHANE FOAM INSULATION, TO ANALYZE THE THERMAL INSULATING PROPERTIES OF FREEZER DOOR SEALS, TO DETERMINE THE DYNAMIC THERMAL BEHAVIOUR OF THE CONDENSER DURING THE CYCLING OPERATION OF A REFRIGERATING SYSTEM, TO MONITOR THE COMPRESSOR OPERATION, TO TEST POWER-CORD WARMING-UP, ETC.
