Variable air volume control for VAV fan terminals.
Author(s) : HAESSIG D.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Modulation of the VAV terminal fan volume reduces noise in the space while reducing first costs and operating costs. Versatility of the product broadens the spectrum of applications for parallel and series fan VAV terminals. As this technology grows, improvements in motor and controller design will improve efficiency and widen the operating range. This technology is an example of products and applications made possible by digital zone controls.
