Summary

COMPRESSOR VIBRATION CONTROL TECHNOLOGY FOR SUPPRESSING VIBRATION CAUSED BY EXCITING FORCE (CENTRIFUGAL FORCE, INERTIA FORCE AND PULSATING TORQUE) IS DEALT WITH. FIRST THE VIBRATION CHARACTERISTICS IN SEVERAL TYPICAL COMPRESSORS ARE SHOWN, AND THE CONVENTIONAL VIBRATION CONTROL METHODS ARE DESCRIBED. SECOND, THE ACTIVE VIBRATION CONTROL METHODS USING A SERVO-CONTROL SYSTEM ARE DISCUSSED FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF THE EXCITING FORCE. FINALLY, THE EXPERIMENTAL EXAMPLES OF THE ACTIVE VIBRATION CONTROL METHODS APPLIED TO COMPRESSORS ARE INTRODUCED.
