Summary
PRESSURE PULSATION IN ROTARY COMPRESSORS, RECIPROCATING COMPRESSORSAND SCROLL COMPRESSORS COMES FROM THE INTERMISSION OF THE SUCTION AND DISCHARGE. THIS PULSATION AFFECTS COMPRESSION EFFICIENCY, VIBRATION OF THE PIPING SYSTEMS AND DURABILITY OF THE REFRIGERATION COMPRESSORS. IN THE PAPER, GENERAL METHODS ARE PRESENTED: 1) A SIMPLE METHOD FOR GIVING THE DISCHARGE PRESSURE PULSATION ; 2) A NUMERICAL METHOD (ASSUMING NO REFRACTION WAVES), USING A DIGITAL COMPUTER ; AND 3) A CHARACTERIZATION METHOD (TAKING ACCOUNT OF REFRACTION WAVES), USING A DIGITAL COMPUTER.
