Summary

A method and results of calculations of volumetric and energy losses in a refrigeration lubricated screw compressor are presented. The largest losses during capacity control have been determined. Selection of the most energy-efficient capacity regulator makes it possible to increase the efficiency of the compressor by 3-23%.
