Summary

The prairie city of Regina in Saskatchewan is about 100 miles north of the Montana border. To save energy in a place with
some extreme temperatures, the design team for the renovation of the Regina Provincial Correctional Centre chose a cast-on-site radiant heating and cooling wall system. Three wings of the nearly 100-year-old Centre were replaced with a new 216-cell facility. The project, completed in August 2008, saves 38% in energy over ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-2004.
