Summary
A short review of the main achievements in the development of high-critical temperature Josephson junction investigation is given. The six years of history of high-critical temperature superconductivity have produced in this field a variety of interesting results providing exciting perspectives and, at the same time, raising challenging questions. The authors attempt to give a brief sketch of this topic, suitable for a nonspecialized audience, which could supply some ideas about the actual and future situation in this field.
