Summary
The refurbishment of a hotel near Australia’s busiest airport provided the opportunity for its aging, inefficient ventilation and air conditioning systems to be overhauled. But as the author reports, this was easier said than done when a particular condition had to be met: the Mercure Hotel had to remain open for business.
