Summary

INTERNATIONAL REGULATIONS ON MEASUREMENTS OF VEHICLES AND ENVIRONMENT MAY SPEED UP THE ECONOMIC AGEING OF EQUIPMENT. IF A TEST REPORT IN THE ATP-AGREEMENT WAS MORE LENIENT, THE COSTS OF APPROVAL COULD DECREASE. SUGGESTIONS IN DOING THIS ARE MORE SPACIOUS TOLERANCES, INTRODUCTION OF OPTIONS FOR PARTS IN A PROTOTYPE, AND LESS DIRECT INSPECTION THROUGH QUALITY ASSURANCE.
