IJR confirms its position among 10 most influential publications in Thermal Sciences
Similar to the previous year, the International Journal of Refrigeration ranks among the 10 most cited publications in the Thermal Sciences category, according to the 2025 Google Scholar Metrics ranking.
Every year, Google Scholar releases its Scholar Metrics, which provides an easy way for authors to quickly gauge the visibility and influence of recent articles in scientific publications.
Google Scholar Metrics ranking includes the top 20 publications ordered by their five-year h-index and h-median metrics. For each publication, the most cited papers are listed according to their h5-index. This year’s release covers articles published in 2020–2024 and includes citations from all articles that were indexed in Google Scholar as of July 2025.
In 2025, the IJR confirms its position among the most cited publications in thermal sciences, ranking 9 like the year before (see our previous article).
