The report highlights cold chain infrastructure requirements and what infrastructure has been created to identify gaps in the infrastructure in India.
According to the report, India needs an additional 3.28 million metric tons of cold storage and 52,826 reefer vehicles in order to meet demand.
The report was prepared for and along with the NCCD, by Nabard Consultancy Services Private Limited (Nabcons).
