Résumé

The air curtain characteristics play a very important role in terms of performance of vertical refrigerated display cases. The transient temperature of the display case shelves was measured in order to study the temperature variation and distribution in the display case by changing the number and the velocity of the air curtains. The results show that it is necessary to keep three air curtains in a vertical open low-temperature display case and the performance of the display case can be improved by selecting reasonable air curtain velocities.
