Résumé

Following harvest, a rapid forced-air cooling application is usually required to cool fresh horticultural produce. To avoid excessive moisture loss during storage, produce such as kiwifruit needs to be wrapped in a polyliner which prevents direct contact between the fruit and the surrounding air.
