Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol (COP13 MOP36)

The next Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol (MOP36), will take place from 28 October to 1 November 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand.

This important event will be held at the United Nations Conference Centre and bring together government representatives, scientific experts, industry leaders, environmental organisations and UN bodies. This diverse group will ensure comprehensive discussions and decision-making on the latest efforts to phase out ozone-depleting substances and manage refrigerants, including hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).

The International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) will be present and play an active role in this crucial annual event.
