UN Conference on Climate Change (COP 29)

COP 29 will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 11 to 22 November 2024. This international event, organised under the aegis of the United Nations, will bring together world leaders, climate experts, businesses and representatives of civil society to discuss global climate challenges and propose concrete solutions. This conference is a crucial opportunity to reinforce the commitments made at previous COPs and accelerate the transition to a sustainable future. In Baku, negotiations will focus in particular on adaptation to climate change, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and climate financing for the most vulnerable countries. 

The International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) will be present and play an active role in this crucial annual event.
