Type of article: Article
Summary
In 1902, heat and humidity ruined a publication being printed in colour in Brooklyn, N.Y. At that time, the art and science of air conditioning was just beginning to evolve. Solving this printing problem led to the start of industrial process air conditioning, as nurtured by a young engineer named Willis Haviland Carrier.
