Summary

The technical and experimental equipment as well as the successive stages of the development of the laboratory building after 1945 have been presented in this part of the paper (see also this Bulletin, reference 2006-0471). Among the very unique machinery was the prototype of the steam turbine 1P04-0-2. Today the laboratory is equipped with many unique stands, i.e. the equipment for the investigation of heat and mass transfer by means of liquid crystal thermography as well as 3D modelling of combustion.
