Spanish translation of the IIR informatory note (see IIR Bulletin 98-2, ref. 98-0814). Refrigeration and air-conditioning applications, which are the subject of this note, today account for 57% of total fluorocarbon sales. This 12th IIR informatory note reviews: the two families of the fluorocarbons; inventories of emissions; whai is the current global warming impact of the different greenhouse gases?; forecasts for 2020 and 2100; further improvements (containment, recovery, qualification, alternative technologies); direct and indirect effect and total equivalent warming impact (TEWI).
