Summary
Since 1952, continuing education courses in refrigeration engineering have been taking place at the University of Applied Sciences in Karlsruhe. Between 1952 and 1980, one 10-week course was run each year. About 1000 attendees came to Karlsruhe each time. Since 1980, about 50 1-week courses have been run each year, covering 16 different topics and attracting 600 participants per year. 10% of the participants come from Austria and about 20% from Switzerland. More and more courses in English are requested.
