Summary
Results of measurements of the sound speed, density, and isobaric heat capacity of benzene and its derivatives are presented. A comparative analysis of the thermophysical properties at saturation of the substances under investigation was made. It was shown that the substitution of a halogen atom or a methyl group for a hydrogen atom in a benzene molecule leads to a considerable change in its thermophysical properties.
