Summary

The design of the adsorption reactor is an important aspect of adsorption cooling systems. A computational model has been constructed with the objective to study the physical phenomena taking place inside the reactor and improve its design. Various geometrical configurations could be adopted. The model is capable to simulate any given geometry and relatively large domains, since it is based on parallelizable unstructured meshes.
