Summary
THE ECONOMIC INSULATION THICKNESS HAS BEEN DETERMINED FOR THE IN SITU APPLICATION OF AN INSULANT FOR UNDERGROUND DUCTS AND PIPELINES. THE OPTIMAL INSULATION THICKNESS WAS CALCULATED FOR TWO PARAMETERS: REGULATIONS REGARDING AMORTIZATION AND CURRENT ENERGY COSTS, AND THE CORRELATION OF THESE TWO FACTORS WITH THE ECONOMICS OF OTHER NATIONS.
