Author(s) : BEGGS C. B., WARWICKER B., et al.
Summary
Describes a new technique whereby new and existing buildings can be fitted with a low-energy air movement system which significantly increases the fabric thermal storage capacity of the building. States this may eliminate the need for air conditioning in many existing buildings while still enabling the occupants to remain comfortable under peak summertime conditions. Presents the findings of two computer studies of the system. Also includes a discussion of a potential application for the system.
