Summary
THE INDIRECT EVAPORATIVE COOLING GETTING MORE COMMON IN AIR CONDITIONING FIELDS REQUIRED IN THE OPINION OF THE AA. SOME ADDITIONAL STUDIES IN ORDER TO OBTAIN EQUATIONS FOR DETERMINING TEMPERATURES TO BE ACHIEVED FOR THE COOLED AIR. THEY RECOMMEND TO COMBINE SOLUTIONS OBTAINED FROM EQUATIONS REPRESENTING CONSTANT RATIOS OF AIR FLOW AND THE FORMULA FOR SATURATION LINES. A PROTOTYPE OF AN EVAPORATOR HAS BEEN TESTED AND EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS FOR VARIOUS AIR CONDITIONS ON THE OUTLET WERE COMPARED WITH THETHEORETICAL DATA. E.K.
