Type of article: Article
Summary
A simplified mathematical technique is presented with which preliminary evaluation of the effects of roof spray evaporative cooling can be made. The method incorporates the effects of solar flux, ambient temperature and the humidity of the environment. The use of the model is illustrated via the use of TMY weather data for Washington, DC.
