Summary
The original Soave-Redlich-Kwong equation of state was modified in the temperature dependence of the attractive term by fitting vapour pressure for 200 pure substances of varied polarity. The standard deviations between the experimental and calculated values show a significant improvement in the saturated liquid volume predictions.
