Summary

A thermodynamic theory of this system was elaborated, and the performance simulation and analysis were made under normal working conditions. A zeolite-water working pair was chosen in view of environmental protection and solar energy utilization. According to the simulation, the combined adsorption-ejector system had a cooling capacity of 0.15 MJ per kg zeolite in the day-time and a cooling capacity of 0.34 MJ per kg zeolite in the evening, and could supply 290 kg of hot water at 45 °C for family use. The system's COP was slightly better than that of a simple adsorption system.
