A new dehumidification design method of primary return air-conditioning system.

Summary

The paper introduces a new method of dehumidification design for primary return air-conditioning system. Many buildings with traditional dehumidification design often cannot satisfy practical dehumidifying demand, especially those with little excess heat in transition season. After the analysis of the cause of reheat being on the low side in the primary return air-handling process, it points out that the worst condition to calculate reheat is not in the summer, but in the transition season. The paper puts forward the method to calculate the reheat in those worst conditions. It discusses the feasibility of using condensing heat as reheat source, and compares three kinds of equipment which applied condensing heat to reheat.
