Summary
Dehumidifying is an important process in the air conditioning. In traditional air-conditioning system, cooling is the common way to dehumidify the air. With the development of dehumidizer, the technology of dehumidifying with dehumidizer has been successfully employed in the air-conditioning system. Although dehumidizer can burden the latent heat of fresh air during the process of air handling, the regeneration of dehumidizer will consume much high-quality energy since high temperature is required for the regeneration (e.g. silica gel needs as high as 150°C of regeneration temperature). Besides, the regenerated dehumidizer must be cooled down before it begins to dehumidify the air, which will cause much energy losses. If we could take some measures to decrease the regeneration temperature of dehumidizer, it would bring about many chances of energy saving for the independent humidity control air conditioning systems. In this paper, the technology of ultrasonic was introduced to the regeneration of dehumidizer. Experiments were done to prove that ultrasonic indeed did work in regeneration of dehumidizer. The ultrasonic would become a promising technology to solve the problems existed in the traditional dehumidizers for air-conditioning system.
