Summary

THE THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF THE SOLUTION LITHIUM CHLORIDE-LITHIUM NITRATE-WATER, FOR ABSORPTION REFRIGERATING MACHINES, WERE STUDIED. THE DIAGRAMS 1/T, LOG PRESSURE AND CONCENTRATION I WERE DEVELOPED, AND THE THEORETICAL CYCLE OF THE ABSORPTION REFRIGERATING MACHINES WAS ANALYSED. IT IS SHOWN THAT THE ADDITION OF LITHIUM NITRATE TO THE LITHIUM CHLORIDE-WATER SOLUTION, IN COMBINATION WITH COMMON INHIBITORS, INCREASE THE RELIABILITY OF THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ABSORPTION REFRIGERATING MACHINES, WIDENS THE WORKING RANGE AND DECREASES THE CORROSIVE ACTIVITY OF THE SOLUTION.
