A NEW THROTTLING DEVICE AS CAPILLARY TUBE FOR SMALL REFRIGERATION AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS.

Author(s) : MACZEK K., KROLICKI Z.

Summary

CAPILLARY TUBES USED AS THROTTLING DEVICES IN SMALL REFRIGERATING AND AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEMS BECOME UNATTRACTIVE IN VIEW OF ENERGY SAVING. THE PROPOSED NEW THROTTLING DEVICE FEATURES EASY-TO-CONTROL CAPABILITY AND SMALL SIZE AS WELL. A SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM OF THE THROTTLING DEVICE IS PRESENTED IN THE PAPER TOGETHER WITH EQUATIONS GOVERNING THE FLOW PATTERN AND ENERGY EQUATIONS. INVESTIGATIONS OF THE DEVICE CONCERNED AN IDEAL GAS (NITROGEN) AND REFRIGERANTS R12 AND R22 AS WORKING FLUIDS.
