Summary

THE GAS DIRECT-FIRED ABSORPTION WATER CHILLER-HEATER IS ALREADY A MAIN CURRENT EQUIPMENT FOR COMMERCIAL AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS IN JAPAN. EBARAPAC IS A FULL PACKAGED AIR CONDITIONING UNIT, WHICH HAS JUST MET THE RECENT MARKET NEED OF RELATIVELY SMALL AIR CONDITIONED AREAS OF 1,000 TO 3,000 M2. IT IS SERIES-DESIGNED HAVING A REFRIGERATION CAPACITY FROM 40 TO 90 TON (140 TO 315 KILOW). THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM WITH A GAS DIRECT-FIRED ABSORPTION WATER CHILLER-HEATER IS USED TO BE COMBINED WITH ELEMENTAL EQUIPMENTS SUCH AS A COOLING TOWER, A CHILLED/HOT WATER PUMP, A CONDENSING WATER PUMP, A CONTROL PANEL, A REMOTE CONTROL BOX, A WATER EXPANSION TANK, ETC, ADDITIONALLY TO A CHILLER-HEATER ITSELF. A PROTOTYPE OF EBARAPAC (60 TON: 210 KILOW) WAS DEVELOPED AND INSTALLED AT THE JOB SITE ON OCTOBER 1984. IN THE PAPER, THE PERFORMANCE, STRUCTURE, SPECIFICATIONS AND FEATURES ARE GIVEN.
