A SIMPLE TECHNOLOGY TO REDUCE AND AVOID EMISSIONS FROM REFRIGERATION PLANTS IN OPERATION.

Author(s) : PAUL J.

Summary

THE PROPOSED TECHNOLOGY DETECTS AND ABSORBS EMISSIONS. A SIMPLE PRINCIPLE IS TO CONNECT ALL POSSIBLE POINTS OF LEAKAGE TO A CENTRAL FILTER AND/OR DETECTION DEVICE. INSTALLATIONS WITH A SMALL REFRIGERANT CHARGE NEED ONLY ONE FILTER MODULE, WHICH CAN ABSORB THE TOTAL CHARGES. < HERMETIC > INSTALLATIONS REQUIRE THE INSTALLATION OF A DETECTOR BEFORE THE FILTER SUCH AS TO INDICATE THE PRESENCE OF A LEAK EARLY ENOUGH. < OPEN-TYPE > AND ESPECIALLY LARGE INSTALLATIONS MAKE USE OF TWO FILTERS.
