A study of adsorption refrigeration systems operating at around atmospheric pressure.

Author(s) : HU E. J., YOU Y., HESSAMI M. A.

Summary

In order to solve the leakage problem of the current vacuum adsorption refrigeration system powered by solar thermal energy, the authors have carried out a study on the concept of raising the system's pressure to around one atmosphere using helium (an inert gas) as the pressure-adjusting agent. The paper introduces these initiatives as well as the preliminary experimental results.
