A study of MFVAV system. 1. Fundamental principle and components.

Author(s) : YIN P., CHEN Y.

Summary

The basic types of VAV systems are introduced and the fundamental principle and components of a multi-fan variable-static-pressure VAV (MFVAV) system developed by the authors are presented. In this new system, stepless speed-regulating fans are substituted for the throttling terminals generally used in VAV systems, making the effect of energy conservation more significant and the noise level lower.
