Summary
In the study, the experiments on the mist formation in humid air flowing between cold parallel plates were carried out on different conditions of inlet temperature, inlet humidity, wall temperature and particle size in the air. The effect of existence of small solid particles as condensation nucleus was discussed in the mist formation based on the experimental results. It was found that a certain degree of the vapor supersaturated is necessary for the mist formation depending on the average particle size.
