Summary

A BATH TYPE CRYOSTAT FOR ELECTRICAL MEASUREMENTS BETWEEN ROOM TEMPERATURE AND LIQUID HELIUM TEMPERATURE HAS BEEN DESIGNED AND FABRICATED. THE CRYOSTAT CAN HOLD ABOUT A LITRE OF LIQUID HELIUM FOR EXPERIMENTAL PURPOSE AND TWO LITRES OF LIQUID NITROGEN FOR SHIELDING. THE DETAILS OF CONSTRUCTION AND PERFORMANCE OF THE CRYOSTAT ARE DISCUSSED IN THE PAPER.
