Summary

Several apparatuses are described for measuring in the range from 350 to 77 K the thermal conductivity, the outgassing flow rate and the gas permeability of different superinsulating materials. Results are shown for materials based on basalt and carbon fibers and on metallized polyethylene terephthalate films.
